I don't believe it. It's raining, so I went for a swim in the hotel pool. By the time Pat and I had finished a late breakfast. It had stopped raining. Liz and Dorothy went off earlier to visit the Block Archade, but were not over impressed with it. They then caught the free tram to the Parliament building, where Dorothy ran into a friend from Bryn, Doreen who she had not seen for 5 years or so. Doreen and her husband were visiting their son here in Melbourne. Small world.
Pat and I caught the official Melbourne Visitor Shuttle. We got off at the MCG (Melbourne Cricket Ground) and took a photo of the Denis Lilly statue outside the ground.
We then moved on through the city to Victory Harbour, lots of shops and coffee bars,
Past the Art Centre
Then back on the Shuttle to finish off at the Eureka Tower, up to the Skydeck on the 88th floor, 285m above the ground. Giving some fantastic views of the city.
This is the Eureka Tower, below are views from the top.
