Melbourne 21 Jan - Thursday

Last full day in Melbourne. We woke up to an over cast day, cooler around 21°C, but still quite pleasant.
We had planned to meet up with an old mate of mine from my BT days in Wigan, Kenny Hart.
Ken and his wife were visiting their grand kids in Brisbane. Ken kindly flew back especially early to Melbourne last night, to meet with us today, but he has come down with the Delly Belly today, so he had to call off our catch up, as he does not want to pass his bug on to us. We will have to catch jp some other time.
Ken's wife, Joan still has a 2 day drive back to Melbourne on her I Own.

As we were over our baggage allowance on the domestic flights, I have send a box of shoes/cloaths/etc by air mail to George, back in the UK.

Booked our taxi to the airport for 7:00am tomorrow morning.

The sun came out about 4:00pm and the temperature has increased to 25°C. This goes a long way to prove what they say about Melbourne weather. You can have the weather from all four seasons in one day.

Thought I may be safer if I had an Australian shirt. Note the lovely legs.

Our last meal in Melbourne. All in our best bib and tucker. We just had a little wine, just to be sociable. Not that we enjoyed it at all.
