Perth - Fremantle 15 Jan - Friday

I believe jack frost is around at home. It's actually getting hotter here, 35°C today.
So we just went down to Fremantle and called in at Barbara's brother, Ken Wadrop and his wife Kate's Art Gallery, which used to be Arnotts Mills and Ware biscuit factory. There were loads of paintings on display, which were realy good. I did not realise there was talent in the family.

We then met up with Lisa Baxendale (I don't know her married name) at the E shed market on the harbour front.

This was a shopping opportunity not to be missed by the girls.

We saw lots of old buildings, which are full of character, whilst driving through Fremantle and over to Fremantle Prison. This Prison was built by the convicts, that were transported here in the 1850s. The prison was only closed in 1991.
The displays there have been very much improved since we were last here in 2003. When we watched England's first game in the Rugby Union World Cup at the Subiaco Stadium. England beat South Afria that day, before going on to win the World Cup.
We then drove along the coast road, next to the Indian Ocean, before dropping Lisa off near the Subiaco Stadium.
