As we cross the international date line on this flight, we go back 1 day. So even though we flew for 11hrs 20mins, we landed at 10:30hrs on the same morning as we left Aukland at 20:10hrs. It looks as though we went back in time?
We got a taxi to our hotel and went to bed for a few hours, to get over our jet lag. We then walked down to fishmans wharf for an evening meal.
